I had the misfortune of saving her performance of title song from Anything Goes on Leno. Still pops up now and then when I peruse old home-recorded DVDs. Zero diction, zero concept of phrasing, zero respect for the musical notes (Lupone fans might dig her) and zero people with enough nerve to tell her what's wrong.

Reminds me of the letter Rodgers and Hammerstein wrote Gertrude Lawrence but decided not to send: "Every week you are losing the respect of 10,000 people." On the other hand Gertrude had that respect to lose in the first place.
